    Creating a brighter tomorrow

The Christ Child Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to child welfare. Its motive and spirit expresses itself in personal service for children and youth regardless of race or creed to honor the childhood of Christ.

Each year the Milwaukee Chapter of the Christ Child Society donates significant benefits to the young people of our communities:

    • Layettes for less fortunate infants
    • "My Stuff" bags for young children in crisis situations
    • Scholarship funds for our young adults

We gratefully acknowledge the many benefactors who make our work possible.

The Milwaukee Chapter of the Christ Child Society has provided continuous volunteer services and financial support to dozens of child-related organizations since 1948. The National Christ Child Society was founded in 1887 by Mary Virginia Merrick in Washington, D.C. It is a national volunteer organization embracing members of all denominations, expressing their love of the Christ Child by service to God's children regardless of race, age or creed.

    Membership

The Milwaukee Chapter has members in Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Waukesha and Washington Counties. Nationally, there are over 7,000 members.

    Funding

The Milwaukee Chapter is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization and has no paid staff. The Chapter receives funds from a Resale Shop/Boutique that members operate. In addition, annual social fund raising events, memorials, tributes and general contributions provide funds for Chapter projects. All donations are used to conduct the Chapter's charitable works and activities.
